About these terms

These terms describe permitted use of the Chalk Mentor website and learning application provided by Chalk Mentor, operating from Pakistan. Read them before using the service. If you do not agree, do not use the service. A separate written agreement for a particular service takes precedence where it conflicts with these terms.

Our Privacy Policy explains information handling and our Cookie Policy explains browser storage. Reading these terms does not give consent to processing that requires a separate choice.

Access, younger users, and the beta

Chalk Mentor welcomes learners of different ages. If you are below the age at which you can enter a binding agreement where you live, a parent or guardian must review these terms and supervise your use. Any parental consent or verification required by privacy law must be completed before personal information is submitted. The current release does not provide a verified parental-consent workflow.

The website contains prepared demonstrations, account links, and contact/feedback email-draft forms. Beta accounts require email verification and manual approval; signup does not guarantee tutor access or promise an approval date. Keep your login credentials private and report suspected account misuse. There is no online checkout or subscription purchase. Previewed plans are not a purchase agreement. Any paid offering will require clear price, payment, renewal, cancellation, and refund information before purchase.

Local installations require suitable hardware and configured AI or speech services. Third-party services may charge fees under their own terms.

Use AI output with care

Chalk Mentor is a learning aid. Generated text, equations, code, diagrams, images, and spoken replies may be inaccurate, incomplete, biased, or unsuitable for your situation. Verify important information, calculations, and sources. We do not guarantee grades, learning outcomes, or the accuracy or originality of output.

The service does not replace a qualified teacher or professional medical, legal, financial, or other regulated advice. Do not rely on it for emergency or safety-critical decisions. Follow your school’s, employer’s, and examination rules for AI assistance.

Responsible use

Use the service lawfully and respect other people. Do not:

  • Submit material you have no right to use or infringe privacy, confidentiality, intellectual-property, or other legal rights.
  • Use the service to facilitate fraud, harassment, exploitation, abuse, or other unlawful harm.
  • Upload malware, attempt unauthorized access, disrupt the service, or bypass security and access controls.
  • Misrepresent AI-generated work as independently verified or evade applicable academic-integrity rules.

You are responsible for your inputs, your use of outputs, and securing your device and any credentials in your own installation.

Your content and our materials

You retain the rights you hold in material you submit. You permit us and configured service providers to process it as needed to deliver the features you request, subject to the Privacy Policy and applicable provider arrangements. These terms do not grant us a general right to sell private lessons or publish your prompts.

AI output may be similar to other users’ output and may contain third-party material. We do not guarantee exclusive rights or that every output can be used without further permission. Check relevant sources, licenses, and provider terms before sharing or publishing.

Chalk Mentor’s branding and original website materials are protected by applicable intellectual-property law. Third-party and open-source components remain subject to their licenses. Using the service does not transfer ownership of our branding.

Suggestions are voluntary. We may use general product suggestions to improve Chalk Mentor without promising compensation. Do not include confidential information in suggestions.

Availability and saved work

The product is under development. Features may change, be interrupted, or become unavailable. Keep exports or backups of important work: browser storage can be cleared and local lessons are not automatically backed up to an account. We cannot restore copies we do not hold.

Access may be restricted when reasonably necessary to address unlawful use, security risks, or breaches of these terms, subject to applicable law. You may stop using the service at any time. Stopping use or deleting browser data does not automatically erase sent emails or records held by independent providers.

Disclaimers and legal rights

To the extent permitted by applicable law, the service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without promises that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or suitable for every purpose. To that same extent, we exclude implied warranties and liability for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of the service.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including liability for fraud or mandatory consumer rights. These terms do not require you to waive protections that the law gives you.

Applicable law, questions, and updates

These terms are governed by the laws of Pakistan, subject to mandatory consumer or other protections and court rights that apply where you live. These terms do not create compulsory arbitration or waive mandatory local rights.

Contact hello@chalkmentor.com with questions or concerns. We encourage contacting us first so we can try to resolve an issue, without limiting any legal complaint or remedy available to you.

We may revise these terms as the product develops. The updated date identifies the current version. Material changes will require appropriate notice and, where required, renewed agreement before taking effect. Changes do not retroactively remove accrued rights.
